Take me to the seaside

Last night after much sobbing, I went for a walk. Around the dining room table. Yes the dining room table. It was quite an achievement.

I couldn't quite make it back to the sofa so ended up on the floor near the sofa on the grimbles carpet. Jonny reached out to me to help.

I wailed "you need to take me to the seaside." And again, "the seaside!"

Bless he said he would. Just not last night.

Simple dreams hey. So far we have the field and the seaside. Although sunshine is needed for both.

I'll take you to the seaside one day too. And it'll be warm and sunny. And even if its cold and cloudy it won't matter too much 'cos you and Jonny will be with us. As well as Trousers and Boo Boo who, despite only having one set of clothing, are remarkably adaptable to differing weather conditions.

Warm and sunny means afterwards it'll be seafood and fig ice-cream at Manta Ray restaurant right on the beach in Tel Aviv with the waves crashing in front of us and the stone towers of Jaffa rising out of the sea to the North. Cold and cloudy means we'll come back here, drink hot chocolate in the snug and watch a Midsomer Murders (our current favourite).

By the way, I can't say I blame you for being in Fedupsville. You have every right to ask for the keys to the bloomin' city.

All my love as ever.

John

Yes! Southwold in July -- it's a long time to wait, but that means you'll be feeling stronger by then! Wish we were all there now . . . xx

Seaside action in Sydney is a bridge too far but a lovely daydream.... Tel Aviv is a definite maybe when this body is feeling stronger....and Southwold is a definite yes for July.

In the meantime I just made it out the house and to the river and the sun was shining even if it was cold. I'll take that today xx
